Remember to feed your pet approximately the same time everyday, and leave plenty of water out.  Rotate foods so that your pet is getting different food sources to prevent food sensitivities and allergies.  For your dog, remember to keep a balanced diet of meats, whole grains and vegetables. If your dog is eating kibbles/dry food, supplement with omega fats such as flax seed, green algae or kelp (for minerals and trace minerals), probiotics and enzymes. The same is true for cats, however since they are strictly carnivores, eliminate the vegetables and whole grains.
